I settled for the BARE Trilam ATR Light (the kid brother of the thicker HD Tech), and it's been a great suit. I also settled for layering wicking long johns under sweats under ski gear for cool water and one of those thick fleeces for colder (hey, it was $80).
The best part is getting out of the water during a frigid, windy surface interval and having the outside of the suit dry in mere moments, which you'll get with any -lam drysuit.
(Incidentally, at 6'2" 175#, the BARE ML-Tall size fit me off the rack. I didn't have to go custom, either.
