What is up with the location of the exhaust valve on this suit? I have to execute strange gyrations to get the valve in a position to vent. Diving in normal trim it points straight ahead.

Is there some logic or reasoning to this that I'm not getting?

Other than this I'm happy with the suit.

I had to re-position/re-install the exhaust valve on my Bare HD Trilam from the inside upper arm (which seems to be the standard placement) to the outer side, now pointing up when I'm floating in the prone horizontal position. See this thread and the pictures of a similar problem, before & after:

Drysuit: Exhaust Valve Migration

Thanks Kev. Now why didn't I think to ask this over the winter...

Thanks for the replies, I'll look in to getting the valve moved.

Till then I guess I'll ascend in a more vertical posture.
