Nope. I don't know anything about it. In fact, someone here on SB just mentioned it to me yesterday. Where is it and what is it like? I'de love to try something new!!!!!

I have made the drive out there twice for diving and it is 6.5-7 hours for me. It is a very pretty area. I enjoy the diving and think it is worth the trip once just for that. I suggest that you try to get a three day weekend and go out. You can dive one day and drive around in the mountains the next. Lots to see and do in the area besides Balmorhea. I make at least two trips a year to the Davis Mountains because it is so pretty. I have posted some picts and info here.

What is the availability of tanks and fills out there?
I always take two tanks but I have also been able to get fills both times I was out there - $10 a fill though. Just email or call in advance and coordinate.
