Awesome. Unexpected from somebody who's position is that Bonaire is the safest place in the entire Caribbean. But awesome the same.

.

Why oh why do you misrepresent what I say to suit your own smear campaign against Bonaire? I challenge you Mike to find a post where I said "Bonaire is the safest place in the entire Caribbean." You know the old saying, "put up or shut up"? Prove me wrong on this board, I challenge you.

I CAN tell you having traveled the Carib for some 35 years (25 of these back & forth to Bonaire by the way) that Bonaire is ONE of the safest islands in the Caribbean. I have never stated it IS the safest. Two very different meanings. I'm ready...

No, SPIN is what YOU put on it. We speak the truth - deverbart speaks the truth and does not mislead people. Saying " Boniare is the safest place in the Caribe" is not only pixi dust, it's BS.:shakehead:

PF..See the post I just made to your cohort Mike. Why don't the two of you put your collective heads together and produce THE quote to buttress your argument?

Of course you can't, because I have never said that nor to my knowledge has anyone else one on this board said what you quoted. This is exactly what I mean by "spin" and your continuous campaign to smear the island and some posters who post things you don't like. Your constant drivel of misinformation casting Bonaire as a crime ridden haven of folks just ready to pounce on poor unsuspecting divers does not go unchallenged, by me nor by others.

Are you now going to say you never said that?:shocked2::shocked2::shocked2: OMG!

Bonaire is one of the safest islands you will ever have the pleasure of visiting in the entire Caribbean. -diver vince

I'm actually kind of startled at how fast you have turned around and just how far you have came in such a short time.

Not only do you agree with Bart that Bonaire is a crime ridden island, with a government with no interest to solve the crime problem, no money for jails, no money for an effective police force, has laws that protect the criminals, but now you also want to make sure that nobody ever confuses you of ever have said Bonaire is a safe place.

Wow, you have really come quite far in such a short time. Good for you, that's some fantastic progress.

If you want to come full circle and really lay it all out, how about you tell us some personal stories relating to criminal activities you have had personally happen to you and others that you know.

I'm thinking that will be truly cathartic for you.

Do these words below, written by you that are a constant part of your sig, sound like the words from an impartial source? Who are you trying to kid? Seriously, do you read your own stuff?:shakehead:

"Life is good, And on Bonaire, It's even better!"

Funny thing is if you ask diverbart, " by day three I feel home sick, no matter where I am..."... He has intimated that he believes the same thing. :cool2:

Oh, and "One of the safest..." is a far cry from "The safest..."

You're right and since you guys like to make your points based on splitting hairs. Then let me clarify for Vince what he meant.

When he said it was one of the safest, he was using the number 300 for his qualifier, as in out of 300 islands, it's one of the safest, and further he was actually thinking it was number 299 on the list right? :shakehead:

Engineers. They are a funny breed. Totally predictible, but funny none-the-less.

Anyways, I'm hoping you all can have this thread closed down like the other ones as a result of the cliques gang pile of useless posts and then you can all place your thanks to the moderator pretending that "Thank God that thread was closed, I only posted 2/3rds of the posts in it." :shakehead:
