I'm wondering if any of ya'll out there have dove an Abyss wing with a single tank. I understand that there is a chance that the wing will taco around the tank. How much of a problem is that and is there a way to overcome it? I dove someone's Dive Rite rig once apon a time and had that happen to be with a single AL80. Not too much of a problem, kinda annoying but nothing I couldn't handle, but I wondered if there was a way around that. Bungees maybe? Sorry for all the questions I am a noob to the whole bp/wings thing.

I haven't so I can't answer your specific question, but I'd ask: why would you want to do this? There are at least 4 choices, DiveRite, OMS, Oxycheq and Halcyon that make wings specifically for singles. These are going to be better choices. Why compromise and try to work around the problems created by the compromise?

I agree with Reubencahn. Dive the donut for singles and the wing for doubles. The switch takes only a couple of minutes.

Found out that Abyss does make a wing for singles, the Rec2Tec Wing, anyone have any experiences with it?

That BC is a horseshoe shaped design, better suited for doubles, not single tanks. Heed what others have said to you: a Donut shaped wing will work better for a single tank than a horseshoe shaped wing. Check out the Oxycheq wings. You will not be dissapointed...

I second the S&W comments. You can get an aluminum and Stainless for about the same price others are charging just for their stainless. Best value in the water.
Looking forward to checking out the oxycheq wing this summer. Have fun.
