I used to carry a knife but after loosing a few and never needing them for more than my avacado for lunch or cutting the lime ...........
I now have sea snips zip-tyed to my BCD and its always there don't even have to remember to take it on the boat

Howdy,

I carry a knife in a shealth on my BC belt, and carry a pair of EMS shears in my pocket.

The EMS shears are great because they cut through anything. If you get caught in steel cable, you can cut through it.

I got 15 EMS shears on eBay for $10. When they get too rusty I throw them away and dig out another one.
