I was just most amazed that Ken had a warranty..... thought e was old enough that the warranty had expired... ;-)

First in the water at CP yesterday (at 8:30, so not too early)... man, it's peaceful down there with no people (classes) .. and BLUE! :-) After that dive, things got kicked up.

3+ hours in the water, good conversation with drbill (and seeing his new blonde buddy :-) ), not a bad way to spend a summer Saturday (and ruined it by seeing Anchorman, well not ruined, but it was just OK, not as funny as I thought it would be)...

drbill:
Surface temp was 73 degrees yesterday!

We dove Casino Point Thursday and Friday. The water temp was the warmest we've ever dove. (We've always dove at Monterey)

As we got out of the water on our last dive Friday, and walked up the steps, there was Dr. Bill to greet me! Of course he did not know it, as we had never met before.

Dr. Bill, it was wonderful to meet you and I hope we can connect up next trip.

Oh yeah, remember to use ice.

drbill:
(MOST importantly) gave me her e-mail addy and phone number!

You...you...you...scoundrel!

(Can I be a scoundrel, too?) :crafty:

kelpmermaid:
want to hear what you missed at SCI? Evil grin... :10:

No... just read Ken's weekly email recap. Sounds like a fantastic day, but not having a WA lens, I just would have been frustrated. ... :-)

I agree with Chris the early morning dive was worth the 6:15 boat. Got in just after Chris with great viz and few divers in the water. On my second Dive I got to see both Dr Bill's under water (the diver and the Giant Black Sea Bass) (well maybe this Sea Bass was a little small to be Dr. Bill's Name sake. Although I did not see the young lady under the water I did see her topside. And I agree with TJ.

You Scoundrel.

?? Saw your post re: the boat after I got back, so didn't know you were there...... Woulda said hello... where were you stationed? I was back at the last bench towards the fill station.

And I did see the future mrs.dr.bill above water.... :eyebrow:

Chris

Good to hear it was just Ken's dry suit feet that were replaced!

ChrisM- let's not rush things. After all the future Mrs. Dr. Bill may not even have been born yet (don't think I can wait THAT long though)!

Chris:

We were on the right side of the stairs against the inner wall facing the dive park. I did not know which diver you were or I would have said Hello. Maybe next time.
