I just don't log dives
Tried them in the pool today, with dual lp 72s (non-isolated manifold). I was able to maintain rock solid neutral buoyancy, and the air shifts were tolerable and quite predictable. It did take some getting used to balance the attitude in the water, but I was able to maintain a slight head down one for most of the dive. I had too many students to try to swap between configurations, and this was merely a check out dive to see how they would react. Thank goodness, I was not bothered by the constant rolling that I saw at the spring. I will try them with the STA and Spreader plate again this weekend at the spring.

I will be looking to borrow/buy some lp 104s to see how that affects trim.

BTW... my head kept hitting the manifold... I have the bands as high as they can go and not be on the tapered part... but I do have the tanks on the highest bolt hole. I guess I should just move it down a bolt hole and try. I was able to reach both valves, but that will be harder if I move the tanks lower on the backplate.

Hey Pete,

You're a wetsuit diver aren't ya? You might want to reconsider LP104's (double AL 80's)

Congrats on the wings.

Mike
