Yes, I have heard he is doing fine. I don't think his diagnosis was certain. He had a chamber ride to cover possible DCS. His exposure was not great.
We had a similar situation occur out of WPB one morning where an experienced diver became ill minutes into the first dive of the day. He immediately started having issues at depth and surfaced. So they sounded an alarm from the boat for everyone to surface, but of course I never heard it. When I got back 60 minutes later I see this guy sprawled out on the deck breathing O2. No one understood what was going on, but he earned a chamber ride for his troubles.
