Wow!! I am late as usual making a report

We got in late Sunday night and I was busy with other things yesterday. Andy and I headed out to Orange Beach about 4:15am and got there right on time at 7am even after a breakfast stop. Guess what? No traffic to fight at that time of the morning.

We had a great day of diving. I was a bit bummed that Andy couldn't make it out the last dive but we are determined to find an answer to his problem. He had been on meds for two weeks which included Nasonex, antibiotic, antihistamine and allergy medicine. We are going back to the Doctor this week.
The two dives were awesome. I rented two steel 85's from Gary and was able to drop 4 lbs of weight so I only used 8lbs but was still way overweighted. I dropped like a rock. The first dive I had a max depth of 105ft for a total bottom time of 30 minutes. I hung out on the line quite a bit with Andy before descending and then my mask started flooding and I never could get it situated. I was wearing a new strap and hood and I didn't get it all adjusted right. As we started back up the line, Andy signaled me that he was not ok. He had a squeezing in his sinuses through the nose area and we had to hang out for a bit for him to clear some so that we could go back up. His right ear had also begun to bother him. I am so glad he at least made it down for that dive. He was so excited about it and I got to share a beautiful dive with my son.
The second dive he couldn't clear at all. We had gone down first so we hung out at about 10 ft with him trying for a while and when Paul started down the line Andy motioned for me to buddy with them and he was going back up. I had a great dive with Paul and Walter. My max depth was 87ft and even with hanging out at the line for a while with Andy I still had a 45 minute dive. The YDT was amazing as always. I had adjusted my mask and hood and this time had no problems at all.
Capt Gary and DM Brian as always did a great job and made the day alot of fun. Gary, Brian, Andy, Walter, Paul and I ragged each other so much the other guy who came along with his grandson joined in on the fun. He kept telling me "They just don't cut you any slack do they"

. SEE!!!! I have proof now!!

Afterwards we went to a fabulous restaurant at the Wharf and enjoyed a meal and a couple of drinks with Gary and Linda and Paul and his wife.
Can't wait to do it again!!
