Wondering what my fellow divers on SB do when they rent a car in Bonaire as far as insurance goes?

For me, I have the AMEX Premium auto insurance. I don't like to be hassled when leaving for some scam. I am going with a buddy so may buy the CDW as long as its reasonable.

I buy the extra coverage. It just seems to be the most simple solution

My CC auto insurance covers cars but not pick-up trucks.

I use Poppy from Telerin with the same insurance you do.
Easy does it.
Most operators do not accept Amex anymore, so I don't know if there are a lot of other choices.

I think at the end, it all comes to the same price when one decides to get insurance. Its a small island so I am not surprised.

Add insurance, the car price and most of the agencies will come to about $375-400/week.
