I was soldering up a new set of batteries for my spectrum and wanted to build a second set of batteries for it... does anyone know where I can get the connector that connects the batteries to the light head? What are those connectors called?

The Spectrum 100 has the banana jack connectors. You can probably get them at Radio Shack.
The others have 2-pole trailer connectors. You can usually find them at auto parts stores for $1.00 or so.

BigJC,
If the batteries (cells) do not have soldering tabs and you're soldering directly to the cells, be careful and try not to overheat them.
They are susceptible to heat damage.
