ATX200 w/Seacure won't fit?

Anyone put a seacure mouthpiece on thier Apeks ATX200?

I destroyed the old Seacure II I had on my Oceanic trying to get it on the Apeks, only to learn later that the ATX200 supposedly takes the special ProII model.

OK, so Scubatoys ordered it and I paid for it, and the damn thing won't go on. What the F? I'm getting pretty mad at Seacure. If they say they fit they should FIT.

Suggestions?

So I boiled the other end and got it on. Seems ok. Dive tomorrow AM, we will see.

No, it didn't fit. Not the shops fault, Seacure's fault.

It did fit after I boiled the other end.

SeaCure's come in three sizes. Apeks regs take the #2 size. I'm not sure about the Oceanic. I haven't had any problems putting Seacures on any of my Apeks regs.

Actually you have the standard three Seacure sizes, then the "pro" models. Most Apeks take the standard seacure II, like my old oceanic that did not fit on the ATX200. The ATX 200 is different, as quoted from www.seacure1.com "(ATX 200 works better with a Pro II),". Unfortunately, the Pro II still does not fit, and must be melted/molded.

Re-read the last sentence of that post. I have had people tell me they didn't fit. I had no problem installing theirs for them. It's snug but it's supposed to be.
