Should I just wear a plaid 'ol swimsuit under a wetsuit? Or nothing at all? :eyebrow:

Wear nothing and you're be real sorry when you peel the neoprene off and it catches on the short and curlies. :D

After FLL's comment I figured this is tame......I like to wear a t-shirt as I find it tough on the nipples if i dont. (t-shirt and swim suit for me)

I wear Speedo Jammers, which are actually bike short length, and don't, um, emphasize like regular speedos do. I tried swim trunks once, but they bunched up. Going commando doesn't have much appeal to me, especially since I haven't bought my own suit yet. Even when I do get my own, having something under will make me feel more comfortable, and makes changing out of the wetsuit less of a peep show.

Has anyone tried the underarmor stuff? might give a little extra insulation, but i dont know how it handles water, especially salt water

Used to wear regular swim trunks but hated the way they bunched up. Some one on this board had a web site for a place that sells a nylon biker short. Got a pair and they are really nice.

The idea of a 1mm or less full skin under a full wet suit sounds nice to help slide on the wet suit. Anyone have recomendations on that?

Jeff

I wear a dive skin or a halfmil suit.

I normally use swim trunks and a lycra skin under my wetsuit. Keeps me warmer and makes the suit much easier to pull on - just slides over.
