I really like this regulator. I noticed it hums, almost like a really low note on a harmonica, when I exhale while out of the water. I don't notice it under water. The only time it happens really is every time I check the reg before diving.
The sales person assured me it was normal to have that happen when not submerged...but he did just sell me a pricey piece of gear.
Anyone else have a T3 second stage and notice this?

Perfectly normal! Most likely just your exhaust valve fluttering. underwater the surrounding water pressure would not allow that to happen.

I really love the sealed first stage, the swivel on the second stage and how easy it breathes

I hum underwater, but always blame it on that danged reg!
