I'm a Fish!
Is it safe to (carefully) use a lighter to clean the masks with ARC coating? I know a lot of divers to this with new masks, and with the ARC coating, not sure if it's cool to do.

Asking for a friend.

I'll take "not helpful" for 300, Alex :D j/K dude

In no hurry.... some mask cleaner was already used on it 4 or 5 times. Owner didn't have "plain" toothpaste. I'm like just let me burn it in 3 sec per side :D

I used 3 different commercial mask scrubs using a cloth to apply on both of my new atomic masks, didn't work well. Then a local dive shop employee recommended applying mask scrub with an electric toothbrush. Worked Great!

The most effective was SCRUB, by jaws products. I also used sea buff, and 500psi scrub
