I just ordered the Atomic Aquatics Cobalt dive computer and wanted to get some opinions of what people think of this unit? I have read a few issues where people are having issues with the unit itself or the software side of it but there can be issues with any products that come out. Just wanted to get a feel of everyones thoughts.

Also any good recommendations for attaching that computer to your BCD?

I used one for a long time, only moving on when I wanted to go to a more tech-friendly wrist mounted, non-air integrated unit, and my wife still dives my old Cobalt. AA has some of the very best service/support available anywhere, and the Cobalt itself is the best console unit you can buy. If something goes wrong with it, getting it fixed will be fast and easy (in my and most people's expeiences, at least).

For mounting that has worked well for me, see here: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/co...tics-cobalt-dive-computer-18.html#post6377871

Atomic is the Apple of dive equipment - they just get it. you will love it.

Thank you guys. I am very excited for it and believe it is probably the best console computer out there from what I have heard
