My dive buddy and I had been getting our nitrox fills at Mass Diving. Service there had always been good (faster fills and closer to us than going to SSD, though slightly more expensive). Recently, however, we've gotten O2-clean doubles, and the air at MD isn't O2-compatible (we have plans to start blending our own mixes). Given the recent thread in the NELD forum on the silliness of some shops (not MD or SSD as far as I know) requiring nitrox stickers for nitrox fills, we decided to give Steve at Atlantic Divers a try.

Happy to say it was a good choice. Steve banks 36%, and can obviously blend down to whatever you need ($5 extra). His air is O2-clean, just what we were looking for. Shop is conveniently located in Danvers, just off the 128. We hit it Saturday on our way back from some CA shore diving. We needed gas for a trip out to the Pinthis the next day. We got our doubles filled ($15!) and were done in about 30 minutes (we later blended the mixes to 32%). Couldn't have been easier or faster. If you're not blending your own, definitely consider giving AD a try.

You mean, filled with 36%? That's very good price.

Yup, filled with banked 36%; we blended down ourselves later. Good price, good service, good location. Was a very positive experience.
