It was interesting to note that only a few people posted legitimate customer complaint issues to JJ.

I would have thought that since people are more likely to complain than give a compliment that a lot of people would have piped up. Since we didn't see that, it seems like Halcyon may, all in all, do a good job at customer service.

Hopefully the "constructive" posters like jackknife will not run JJ off.

Why oh why should more respect be offered to some members of SB and not others, except based on our personal respect for them?

It is understandable that happy disciples will praise JJ, but it is also totally understandable that people frustrated with his business will air their views.

If anything, it is more polite to air them in a forum that they know JJ has access to and can reply to if he chooses to.

He's a person, like anyone else here. He has been sucessful in his business, but let's not forget that that has its own rewards.

I don't expect anyone to treat me differently here because I worked as a director for several years. It's totally irrelevent. Heck, it sounds like Genesis is one of the more accomplished business people here, and look at all the respect he gets :boom:

What does amaze me is that we have a whole thread dedicated to how shocked people are that we're treating JJ like we would treat anyone else!

We should redirect this thread to be about Jep's swim =-)

Glad to hear TI is working for you. Here is a hint if you have any questions: rec.sport.triathlon. Terry sometimes hangs out there so you might get direct answers, otherwise there are a lot of good people there who know a lot about swimming.
