Are US Din threads G5/8...?

Hi.. I'm about to order a tiny 1st stage regulator from the US for my suit inflation... I realise you guys have different cylinder neck threads... usually 3/4 bsp that us in the Uk... and I'm not worried about that.

Can I ask... are the US cylinder valve Din fitting regs G5/8 ...? the bit you screw the 1st stage into. I don't want to order a 1st stage if its not going to fit my UK din thread valve.

DIN, Is the designation for the German National Standards - Deutsches Institut fur Normung, comparable to ANSI - American National Standards Institute. DIN tank valve threads are standardized and therefore the same worldwide. If they're different they wouldn't be DIN.
