I confirm the green Army surplus gloves are the best... Someone else once recommended the parachute cord to me for the purpose of venting. I have yet to try surgical tubing. Any other proven solutions out there?

Green Army glove are great, just avoid tossing them in the dryer :). When I dove dry gloves I used a piece of thick bungee under my wrist seals which was about 1.5" long. It had overhand knots at each end and ends were burnt so they didn't fray. It was easy to get, comfortable to dive and worked perfectly..
