So after much research I have determined the schrader valve used in the i3 inflator mechanism. It's a Volvo AC part (yes from a car). One manufacturer whose part number I know for it is FJC. The part number is FJC-2675. I just ordered a bunch from an auto parts store online. I'm sure there are also other manufacturers who make the same size valve.
Aside from the little mesh filter screen the shcrader valve is the only tricky-to-acquire part on the i3. I haven't figured out the mesh screen yet, so if anyone knows that one...
