Well as long as they still make excellent dry suits with kick arse graphics I'm ok.
I hope the same people are going to be running the company. I do think Whites has been extremely responsive to customer feedback on the evolution of the Fusion suit, in a way that large companies rarely are.

I held off on buying my first drysuit. I followed the Fusion's growth and evolution on here, and impressed with Whites response and implementations just recieved a couple weeks ago, my Fusion Bullet, with pockets, and boots. I too hope that it remains the Whites I have followed for the past couple years. I will have to agree with you that generally, the larger companies don't have the drive that the smaller niche companies have for trying to perfect a product for it's customers. IMO
Will have to wait and see. I got mine though!

the pricing policy is "if it's Aqualung, the customer is screwed".
you're looking at dealers not discounting any and Aqualung enforcing "full list price", MSRP, or max 10% off.
The customer just lost out BIG TIME.
Bummer. I wish to buy a suit this fall. I hope I can still get the service I expect from a small company.

I wanted to take this oppurtunity to thank you all for the kind words regarding the service and experiences that you have had with Whites Manufacturing Ltd.
Having the most responsive customer service and proggressive diving products in the industry have been the foundation to our success. I can assure you that this will not change.
It is true that Whites will be joining the Aqua Lung family and we see this as the next step in our evolution. It is an exciting partnership which will benefit our dealers, the employees of Whites, and the diving public. Whites will continue to be run as a seperate entity and will remain the unique customer oriented company you have all come to know and respect. I can't stress enough that it will be business as usual for Whites and our customers. Our dealer network will remain, our team will remain, and our committment to quality and service will remain.
There has been alot of speculation regarding Aqua Lung dealers becoming Whites dealers and vice versa. This will not happen and the standard application process to each company will remain the same. Once again, business as usual.
With change there inevitably comes uncertainty. The Whites team knows this as well as anyone. However, I think I speak for all of us here at Whites when I say that we are excited, and have great expectations for the future of our company.
