Aqua lung air source octo/bc hose help

Hi just bought the zuma and the airsource.
It comes with a security lanyard that wraps around the mouthpiece.
For the life of me we cannot figure where the other side attaches to.
Any one know?

Is this the one you're referring to?

If so, the rectangle end is intended to be looped around your attachment point (on the BCD) and the rest of the holder is passed though the rectangle opening. The "loop" of the rectangle should finish up in the notch, securing the holder. The oval end just slips over the mouthpiece of the octo or inflator.
