Anybody ever use the tank lock from Apollo? I've had problems with tank slippage in the past and was thinking about getting this, but I can't seem to find any reviews about it to see if its any good. Any info would be appreceated.

TwoTanks:I don't like the idea of adding another hose just to secure the tank.

ronrosa:Hose ? Why do need another hose ?
scubatoys:The one with the hose would be the Mares Air Link, which basically is a piece of junk.. but you don't have to use an extra hose... you use your standard inflator hose. You just air it up, and the air pressure tightens the strap, then you remove the inflator. The thing no longer uses pressure, it is held in place with it little teeth, so you don't have to worry about pressue escaping etc. The problem with this unit, is it doesn't get tight enough, and it's a bit big and clumsey.
The Apollo Bio Tank Strap on the other hand, is easy to use, other than to first set up the size might take you a few minutes. But with this thing, a little girl can get a tank strap tighter than the biggest macho diver. It really works well... if you need it.
