Hi All. I have been seeing this ad for the Apollo Bio-Filter (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...0-0444814?v=glance&n=3407251&s=sporting-goods) which supposedly moisturizes the dry air you breathe when diving. Given that I had experienced extreme cotton mouth while diving a few times before, I was looking at this gadget. Has anybody in this forum used it before or heard about this ? Do you think it is worth it ? Thanks for your time and opinions

In cold water diving, this unit is a no-no.

In warm water diving, I just see it as another potential failure point.

If you are a new diver, the cottonmouth will go away with experience.

Seems like a waste of money to me and as was mentioned, another failure point.
