More info on this reg -- an "informed" source tells me that the first shipment of these regs will begin to hit US stores the second week of June. Numbers will be extremely limited for this first shipment -- apparently only those with "pre-orders" will be getting them in.

Large-diver.... I talked to my dealer a day or two ago and he says he'll have them in a couple of weeks. Said something about a black coating on the first stage and of course the smaller second stage with an intergrated exhaust. But they ain't cheap, I think he said retail for the ATX100 was going to be somewhere in $800 neighborhood for the 3-stage set.
I may pick one to try when he gets them, but I hate too, just might decide I need it.

LOL! me too Warhammer, i think i will give them a wide birth otherwise they might end-up under my bed :tease:

Thanks Large-diver, I can read that info since it isn't in Korean. :) I may just have to drop by the shop next weekend, before heading to the quarry, and pick one up for testing purposes (shhh...don't tell the Mrs). But I'm sure Phil would do his best to convince me it's better than my current one, since he's a thoroughbred salesman.

Thanks for the link L_D.

My wife hasn't bought a reg yet.

I wonder if she'd like to try mine.hehee!

So does anybody know if the US will for sure be getting the ATX100? The Sea-quest/Apeks web site only lists the ATX200. When will the ATX100 actually be released, what will be the approximate price point and what will differentiate it from the ATX200?

Thanks for your help.

Dont ask us Britains, this time you guys in the US are getting the ATX first because according to Apeks technical director the USA is "crying out" for a new reg ;( *WAAAHHHH* i want my ATX and CTX reg lol

You don't really want all those fancy dials and knobs-do ya????...25% lighter!!!! that just means you'll have to add more lead. Get a big heavy first stage to lighten your ballast load around your waist...get a Jetstream.

o my good god, its time the US navy did a retest, jetstreams are wellknown as the "freeflowers" of the reg world in the UK when it comes to tech diving.
