Apeks Comfort bite mouth piece

Hi guys, I’ll chime in with my $.02 here. I have used a number of “special” mouthpieces over the years and rate them like this:

Tied for first place

• Aqualung “ComfoBite”
• Sherwood “Wisdom mouthpiece”

A close second

• Atomic “Dual Silicone” mouthpiece

I hear lots of my customers love the Seacure, but I have never tried it myself. The one thing I can say for sure is that I will never go back to that standard mouthpiece. Having to bite it just to keep it in my mouth gets real old real fast.

So what'll ya sell me a box of AL comfobite mouthpieces for? Oh, and do they come with a warranty?

Is the Aqualung Comfo-bite the same as the Apeks Comfo-bite?
Apeks Comfobite Mouthpiece in Regulators,Accessories from Simply Scuba

Would these mouthpieces fit a Scubapro R380 reg? Is the colour any different apart from aesthetics (e.g. different softness of compound etc)

Dive Rite Express has the black Aqua Lung Comfo-Bite. I just switched my new reg's mouthpeice for a comfo-bite from one of my old regs.

I started on Scuba Pro regs, with SP mouth pieces. They force you to open your jaw more than most other mouth pieces. I then switched to Apeks and did NOT like the cumfobite pieces. I felt the reg wobble in my mouth, so I bit harder. This gave me a major jaw ache, and no matter how hard I bit down the reg still kinda wobbled(high current) I always said I was going to replace it with a scuba pro mouthpiece that I liked. Eventually the COB mouthpiece ripped so I put on the Scubapro.... I dont like it. The reg seems to sit at a strange angle in my mouth and it feels like my lower jaw is going to fall off my mouth is open so far. I kind miss the COB, I picked up an Atomics mouth piece, I will have to give it a shot Tuesday morning....
