Anyone up for Casino Point Next weekend?

Did two dives today. Visibility was excellent (60-80 ft depending on time of day, best early AM). Some surge in the shallows. Clouds in the late afternoon reduced illumination levels and cut effective visibility down a bit, but it was still quite nice! Should be good this weekend if there aren't too many divers in the water. Less than a dozen today while I was there today.

Called the harbormaster and apparently they are not issuing permits to the valiant. I guess more than 70 boats showed up for a yachting event. Casino Point should be fun anyway. Hope to see all of the scubaboarders there!

Hey Jen, you got a dry suit??? Cool!!! What kind did you get? I was looking into them last year, but decided to wait until after I got my DM. Unfortunately, I need to have one custom made, at least the DUI. <grins> I don't think the industry has accepted woman as divers! LOL They seem more mainstreamed for Men's bodies, than womens.

BTW, sure wish I was joining all of you this weekend. I am dying to get back in the water. I have been pretty much drydocked since opening season for Lobster with a head cold. Now that I am all better, this storm has set in. Ugh...guess I won't touch water until I dip my toes in the WARM water of Kona, Hi on Monday. Sigh.........
