Ken- for some reason I thought SWA didn't fly from California. Obviously I'm wrong. And what's wrong with camp counselors? If it hadn't been for one of them, I might still be a...

However.... Southwest Employees seem to have MUCH better "attitudes" than the average "distgruntled" Delta employee.

Its because they're not flirting in and out of Chapter 11, watching their pensions circle the drain.

Well, that and the toilet paper races and the in-flight Elvis impersonations by the pilots.

Its a wacky airline. Wacky and successful. Love 'em for short haul non-stops. Not a big fan for Xcountry or multi destinations...

(Now the bad news: No matter how hot the flight attendants are, hotties don't look good in Khaki shorts and polo shirts. Its like flying with summer camp counselors. :10:)

I don't know as I get older I have seen some camp counselors that look pretty darn good!!!!

I'd guess that in the last ten years I have taken somthing like 500 flights. Some of them were on Southwest most were on other airlines. Almost all were Monday morning first flight out. For those of you who don't fly a lot those Monday morning flights are usually full of business fliers who also travel a lot, usually a well ordered bunch of passengers. Planes are usually pretty full and overhead bins fill up fast. Many fliers feel that airplanes are turning into busses with wings... well in my opinion Southwest is leading the pack. I am just waiting for them to start looking like busses in rural areas of South America, complete with live chickens and goats.

The companies I work for need to get our permission to use Southwest, and the only time we grant it is if the flight is direct and non-stop when all of the other choices have connections. Even then we don't always allow it. We have usually worked all night Sunday night and get to the airport without any sleep and will start work on Monday around 2PM and will work 'til midnight. When your only chance to sleep for two days is at the airport and on the plane seat assignments and not waiting in line make a HUGE difference.

I hate middle seats, and I don't care how "wacky" they are I just want to sleep.
