Yep we have all known about that one already. They closed officially on Saturday the 16th.
There seems to be some of that going around. Austin Aqua Sports closed in December and Deep Blue has been closed for awhile as well. Aqua Sports is planning to re-open as a club, with no retail. Not sure what is going to happen to Deep Blue.

Austin Aqua Club is being opened by another person. The former owner of Aqua Sports, last I heard, was still looking for a new store front to open in. As for Deep Blue, well, I guess "7 on your side" took care of his problems once and for all.
What kind of club, dance club, bar, live music LOL?

I am really interested in this scuba shop for sale in Garland. Any more info would be awesome...
Why not just reply to the Craigs list ad....there is an e-mail....I bet they would be happy to hear from you.

I spent a couple of hours with the AquaWorld (DiveDallas) owner last Feb at his shop. He had quite a few contracts with commercial diving outfits in the gulf. It seemed to be paying off after the big fire in Fall 2006. He had the clearest pool and the best dedicated education room I've seen of the 12 dive shops that I visited in the DFW area last year. I wish him the best of health.
