I think the article explained that too.I always have to ask with those kind of things: What gives them the right to pull people over for doing nothing wrong?

Well Gaff, maybe you should call the Chief and see if there is video. Just to make sure you drive as good as you think you do in the wee hours. I have heard that the drunks say the same thing, "I never crossed the lines" etc etc. I have a friend that says he never crosses the line either but I have followed him. I swear the state could save thousands on line paint if he stayed off the fog line. Sober, mind you.
Ya know after the first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought I was doing exactly what you mention. but the next 3 times I saw them in my rear view mirror creeping into my blind spot and I had my cruise control on at the speed limit and paid special attention to staying between the white lines just to see what would happen and after following me for about a mile the old cherries lit up! I actually thought it was funny and I am smart enough not to make them angry by being confrontational and asking them why they are keeping me from getting home and to bed for no reason. And also why had I never been pulled over in the previous 12 years driving the same road just a couple of hours earlier each night? They are just randomly pulling people at bar time.
