Hmmmm Having troubles with the connect to UEMIS.

Logged into MYUEMIS no problem.

Fired up the java page from the SDA but...........

the connect button is doing nothing and I can't sync.

Same thing happening to my wifes SDA on her laptop so cant be just me?!?!?

Anyone else having problem or can someone confirm that they can still connect and sync??

Hey BB1,
After reading your post I had some dives to upload. So I just tried to connect and yes I am having the exact same problem, Everything works fine up until I hit the connect button, then it just wont connect.

Hi Seaquest,

Thanks for confirming it.

When the folder opens for you to click SyncSDA.html go ahead as normal.

When it fails to connect go bak to that folder and look for the file called agent.log.

Open it and can you tell me if it says the same as mine??

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

I'm pretty certain the fault is the java webserver at their end refusing connections - it's computers and it happens occasionally. Probably needs a reboot!

Ok yeah, here is what it said:

Thanks Laura!

Unfortunately this does illustrate the need for a way to offline sync the SDA or at least be able to download to a 3rd party log.

I've not had any problems in the past but this shows what could happen again in the future!

Well its all fixed again.

Very prompt response from the UEMIS support guys, my ticket got an email in under 2 hours and problem resolved in less than a day. Very good when you take Time zone differences into concideration!

I'm still a happy UEMIS owner!

Ernst is taking care of it on their end... should be sorted out shortly...

Hope Ernest realized we need a direct way to get data off the computer without need of internet and his website.

Yup. Data structure (XML I assume) should be published and ability to save it off w/o internet and website should be provided.
