It wasn't frogkick. I remember the site had a black background and 3 or 4 zip files for the manuals. Version 1.0, version 1.1, and so on.

I've seen that site; the Frogkick site is far superior to it, in my humble opinion. The one you reference (I can't remember its name) didn't have anything on it that we didn't already have at my dive shop, so it was pretty useless to me.

I have seen this manual set all over Ebay and was wondering if anyone has actually seen/used one of them. There is a lot of bold and colored text in the add.....a little too much hype I think. If it lives up to the hype it may be good but I would like to hear from someone who actually has one before spending the bucks.

That looks like the collection I purchased not too long ago. Some older material, some newer. A good start to my personal reference library.

Here are the sites I found most useful:

and as mentioned the frog kick:

Scuba Toys has some too.

Now about the eBay manuals. I am not familiar with the H2O Prince, but a while back I needed a set of Scuba Pro Air II Second Generation manuals, I saw Rick's Auction had some manuals for sale but did not say definitely if the package contained what I needed. The seller has good feedback so I sent an inquiry and was told the info I needed was included. I won the auction, sent the money but before I got my package Ricks Auctions was lobbying me for positive feedback. When I received the packet, it did not have the diagrams I specifically asked about so I contacted the seller again. He said no problem and send me out another packet exactly like the one he sent before. I contacted him again and asked if I could return his packet for a refund and he said no. Consequently, I gave him bad feedback and in retaliation he gave me bad feedback and claimed I was trying to get more manuals for free.

That is the only time I have ever received negative feedback as a buyer or seller. I checked his other negative feedback and sure enough, each time there was a problem, he retaliated in exactly the same way.

Others seem to have had a good experience with this guy.

Thanks Couv. I got one and it was OK for the $10 I got it for but most of them can be found elsewhere. Frogkick is still be best site I have found. Sorry about your problems with him, wish you had ask what was in it, been happy to look for you.

Hi Herman,

(I do not think)the problem was not with the guy you bought your disc from, it was with another vendor. Rick's Auctions....he told me the packet up for auction included a set of diagrams I asked him about; but it did not.....then he bashed me and actually out right lied and said I was trying to get something for free.....he did the exact same thing to someone else.

Luckily the feedback system has changed now. No seller can leave bad feedback about a buyer. I honestly never understood why it was possible before, either. It seems like before it was a system set up just to indimidate people into not complaining about things, especially people who just started eBaying who need the stars.

I had a couple of items not sent/never received, and a double charge and I was afraid to say anything about it in feedback because I need to be able to buy stuff.

(Me, I only leave feedback for out of country sellers because those are the ones who have the hardest row to hoe, and I want them to keep the trading lanes open.)
