Was at OGB this Sunday. Viz was about 4 feet and that was pushing it. The entry is all rock now. The sand is tottaly gone. The first 50 yards is nothing but grapefruit sized and above rocks. Makes for a difficult entry / exit. Good news is that the water temp was 54:cool2:
 
Dove the Herbert this Sunday off Nahant. Off shore conditions were slightly better than in-shore. I think we actually had about 15ft on the wreck but I'm a bad judge of visibility.

Dove the inner harbor islands off Spectacle Island (bottle dive) and off Paddocks (small wreck in 20-25ft) and viz was more like 1-5ft in some spots. Not very good at all.
 
Watching local buoy data for wave height and wind direction and looking ahead at your marine forecast can give you a good idea how things will trend. Here in southern Maine in my estimation the week is just agitated enough to prevent and maningful improvement at least near shore.
