I think the water would be marginally tolerable, but there's no way in hell I'd want to change out of a wetsuit in this weather!

Dry diving for me, thanks.

No, thanks :)

Just picture spending 30 mins in 38 degree water, getting out dripping wet with a 15 kt north east wind blowing against 20 degree air temperatures. Now strip down to your skivies and change. If that sounds like fun to you...be my guest and hop in ;)

Last cold water winter weather dive was New Years Day. Air temp high 30's with 25 mph wind, water temp was 52 degrees. And I meen LAST, bought my first drysuit SAT. and will go diving tommorow.

20 degrees? We haven't broken 15 degrees down here yet. And Friday is calling for what? 5 degrees as a high. Now that's a temp to change out of wetsuit. Or go wet up in Minnesota.

Today it was 4 degrees when I got up and is 10 now. Last week it hit 60 degrees. I don't think your crazy Connecticut weather is much different than Massachusetts ;)

I think i can tolerate the water, but changing in the snow would be hell...

Update: It is now 16 degrees. Hey look, it's snowing again. I think the sub-zero wind chills have completely blown away my memory of our up-till-now mild winter.
