Anyone going to LCBR May 2nd through 9th??

:snorkel:

S4S

We sure are! There is a large group of us from the Raleigh/Durham area going those very dates. The last I heard we had like 20 folks. 16 local, 2 friends of ours from Houston, and there are 2 others from somewhere out west.

It should be a blast! We'll have to get together.

When will you be there in June I'm going the 1st till the 8th and staying at Paradise Villas. I wish it would hurry up and get here!
Greg

We will be there June Sixth about 'supper time', and yes waiting does make the time drag by...:coffee:

Personally, and this seemed to apply to quite a few others down there too...you will only have energy to spend just so much time at the bar. And if your head is still swimming from the boat rides, you won't be reading too much at night either. Playing a DVD can be a nice mindless way of drifting off to sleep some nights. For some an Ipod will do the trick. Just a consideration; don't say I didn't give you a heads up.

Why you would need TV in Little Cayman is beyond me. The only stations you can get are from Miami and New York. If I wanted that, I would stay in the states. I go to Little Cayman to get away from everything and enjoy the island.

We don't have time to watch a DVD! We dive 3 times a day and by 9 PM, most of us are ready to turn in so we can repeat the routine the next day. OK, so we are old, but not that old!

I am glad to see a lot more 'talk' about the islands that I call my second home, or as my daughter claims... 'where Pop would rather be than just about anywhere else'.... for so long, there was no chatter about Brac or LC, but now it is getting warmer, the cold winds of the north are abatting, and the urge to 'get down, get wet, and dive" is just too strong..... come on June....:confined:

At LCBR, I never turned the TV on once. Never wanted to.

Three boat dives and three full meals, all with great dive buddies, take up most of the day. And then there's hanging out at the bar with them and Mark the bartender. A bit of dive logging and it's time to go to bed and do it all over again.

Agreed! That sums up the week! In 62 days we will be there!

We just returned from LCBR. We had a great time. The place looks great, the renovations really have improved what was already a fine place. The new pool looks terrific. I don't think we have ever had anything less than a great trip there. Oh yes, did I mention that the diving was terrific last week?
