We have found several of these, most of them a good 6" or so long and at least 2-3" across. It's not a cucumber of any kind, doesn't appear to be a worm, basically, we haven't found any experts so far who have any idea. Does anybody here know?

looks like a fat innkeeper worm to me...

was this on a night dive?
 
No, we've seen them mostly during the day. What's a fat innkeeper worm? Do you have a scientific name and maybe reference? Thanks!
