About a week ago, I made some DIY front-thigh pockets, that hang from my BCD and strap around the legs. The top is hung on the waist-strap of my harness, and thigh straps are elastic and velcro.

The general idea is I wanted something attached to my BCD, and not my wetsuit because I have multiple wetsuits or sometimes no wetsuit. Tech-shorts might have worked, but that's an additional step before I jump in the water, many are expensive, and very few are front-pockets. I also didn't want the pocket in front of my waist-strap d-rings. With this setup, I can jump in the water with zero extra steps and have everything on me. Securing the leg-straps can be done on the boat, or in the water.

I'll post up a DIY guide sometime later when I have the motivation.
