Looking at replacing my GoPro2 with a 3 and so looking at filters...

I already have the older clipon plastic Red filter from PolarPro for my 2 and I'm reasonably happy with it, but now with the 3, I'm looking at the URPro filters and also the new PolarPro glass ones.

Any have any experience with them?

I'm curious as well. Though I am receiving and SRP red filter tomorrow, the new Polar Pro with the swing on Macro lens is a real nice feature. I opted for the SRP because of it's superior optic quality. Wish I could get the best of both.

I ordered the glass magenta and red filters from PolarPro. I dive in cold emerald green lake water, and while I've only been on one dive with the GP3S, I am thrilled at the reduction of the green by the magenta filter. I will never dive without them again. I posted my video earlier tonight in the GoPro thread because I'm looking for suggestions on my YouTube cruddy upload quality, so you can see the video there. I didn't take a sample without the filter on, so I have regrets. I will say that the other filter out there I had doubts about buying because of the "flip" capability. While I thought it was very convenient, and I do wear 5mm gloves, it would be just my luck that I'd bump it when it was in the "up" position and break it. I'm not hard on my gear, but I opted for PolarPro. I'd say all in all, we've got it pretty good with these filters! The red one will be put to use in a few months in Hawaii. Warm regards, and happy diving!
