I'd definitely be interested. My club is doing one in May as well, but I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to make that one.

I've heard some really good things about Capt. Rob's, as far as charters go, although I don't have any personal experience with them. The 2-tank seal dive to the Isle of Shoals is $70. www.captainrobs.com

I left a message on Capt Robs answering machine this morning but he hasn't called back yet.

I did a very nice seal dive with Cape Ann Charters last summer. While it was a good charter, I feel their prices are a bit too high ($90). They are so far from the location that the boat ride is pretty long, which likely accounts for some of the extra $. I'd rather drive closer to a marina in NH, spend less $, and spend less time sitting in a boat.

I'm open to charter suggestions. From what I've read, most people like Capt Rob. I'm willing to call other charters if anyone has suggestions.

so we can do the "fin" work!!

Can't wait!!! I agree that going out of NH would be much better and more time to do more dives instead of travelling.

I don't have a boat. My dad's boat is having the stern drive overhauled, and my friend Gary's boat is nearly restored.

I am thinking seriously about getting a Cobra Fish n Dive kayak though.

Just found out that the seal dive my club's doing in May is on Capt. Rob's boat. It looks like I'll be going, so I'll report on what the boat is like. Trish, I'm wondering if we might be able to get a small discount if we guarantee him a full (or close to that) boat. The Giant Stride holds 8 divers, if I'm not mistaken.

maybe me and my dad might be able to come if the dates are right

I wasn't able to call Capt. Rob today but I'll try again tomorrow and get a list of available dates and post a poll for you guys to select.

I'm going for a Sat or Sun in July or August.
