USCG flyer:Paramedic Diver and Scubafast, sent you guys some PMs before I post the name of the shop...I also read some post by member "Dandy Don" that popped up as related threads on the bottom of the screen. This sounds like it could be the same group of folks, and the circumstances sound similar, if you guys think it might be a trend by all means let me know. He didn't post the name of the shops, so I can't be sure.
Anyone looking for a good shop can now check out Gander Mountain in Spring. They just recently opened their SCUBA shop. They have about 5,000 sq ft of space set aside for SCUBA.USCG flyer:Hey all, just dropped into Houston to do some training for the Airstation here, and I figured while I was here I should check out the local shops. Any choice places to hit? I feel a BP/W is in order.
NauiIT:The store is located just off of 45, between 1960 and 2920.
They currently carry Mares, TUSA, and EVO. They also have a huge selection of dive lights, knives and a whole list of other accessories.
ReefHound:Are you affiliated with this in anyway?
I've long thought that the biggest threat facing the LDS is not the online stores but the possibility of a superchain getting serious about scuba. Gander is huge in the MidEast and in over 21 states. What the superchains usually do is turn the tables and dictate terms to the manufacturers and suppliers.
