What's with the sarcasm woohoo crap. If you dive like you ship, I'd ask about that.
It would be helpful to adopt a different philosophy in relation to diving.

Okay, he was making a comment about moving to this little spot of paradise we call Q8. It had nothing to do with diving or the shipping yet. Ease up.
 
I also always hand carry regulator and instruments (analog gauges and / or computer).

As for my dive lights, photography and video housings - 1) never, never, never store them with batteries in place (you know why now), 2) never, never, never store them with o-rings in place ( you know of one reason now, the other being that the o-ring will get a flat spot from the pressure and have a tendency to leak under water). For internal o-rings in computers, cameras and dive watches, always follow the manufacturer's recommended replacement cycle.
