Just curious..... is anti anxiety medication the same as anti depressant medication...?
Some antidepressants also have anti-anxiety effects, but there are other classes of medications that are used to treat anxiety also. Benzodiazepines are one.

Reason I asked is that I've had a prescription for Lorazepam ( Generic Xanax) for probably 20 years and generally use it for insomnia. Also makes super long flights totally tolerable. I don't have any level of chronic anxiety or depression that I'm aware of. My doctor is aware that I'm a diver and provided me a letter stating that I am under his care, in good health and that he not aware of any contraindications for recreational diving.

I would definitely make sure it's out of your system before diving, but good to hear that you've engaged your doc and he's on board with you diving.

Sorry.....just looked and it's not Lorazepam....... it's Alprazolam....
