I've been reading a lot of articles about what drugs do or don't affect diving. Anyway, I've over a very mild respiratory infection (shouldn't affect diving in any way), and have a dive trip coming up in a few days. Just out of curiosity, would an antibiotic like Amoxicillin (or something like that) have any affect dive planning? Do people generally dive while taking that stuff?
Thanks for the info

I'm not a doctor.

Antibiotics can cause digestive system distress. So how will you be with a queasy stomach or a really reactive colon? You should know how your system responds within a day after starting the meds.

Also, some antibiotics can be photosensitizing. This means you sunburn more easily. Consult your pharmacist or your physician about the meds they prescribed to you.
