Did a pair of GREAT Dives Friday 9/18.
We departed from Orange Beach, Al. at 7:30am aboard the Cat-N-Around.

First dive was the M/S Antares, This great freighter, measuring 387 feet, was one of the largest intact artificial wrecks in Florida before Hurricane Opal did her thing in 1995. The storm twisted and broke the hull leaving only the stern section intact. She rests in 130 feet of water with her stern 90 feet below the surface. This is a great dive with tons of life. Dive time 40 minutes to
131' with just a 6 minute deco. Water temp 83* and Vis of 80+. I took some video but have not edited it yet.

Second dive was on a natural bottom made up of limestone ledges and rock like formations called The Trysler Grounds, this dive is also one of my favorites. Dive time of 40 minutes to a depth of 120' with a deco time of 5 minutes on 02. Vis was excellent at 80 - 100 foot with water temp of 83*. Did see a few Lobsters but only got one 3.5lb flounder. What a Awsome Dive. These pictures were pulled off the video that I shot.

Sounds like some awesome deep dives!

Great report and pics. You said you had some video of the Antares... I'd love if you could post it! It's on my short list of dives I'd like to do this year!

Got to edit it and don't have a good editing program, got any suggestions?

I like Roxio's Easy Media Creator suite

Windows comes with "Windows Movie Maker", which isn't terrible, but it is free. If you know someone with a Mac, it has an even better editor that comes stock on most machines. I'll second XRay's recommendation of Roxio's Easy Media Creator.
