Anniversary Dinner

I am going back to Bonaire in April, and celebrating our anniversary while there. I am looking for a nice romantic place for dinner, if there is one on the island. We tried to book the pier at Sebastian's, but that is booked. Does anyone have any suggestions for a romantic dinner?

it Rains Fishes is nice. slightly elevated view of the harbor. Across the street from the water though. Really good food. Slightly north of downtown.

The other nicer option frequently suggested is At Sea - I've not been there.

At sea Is very good, but also across from the water.

A picnic and vino for sundown on seru largu works for me.

Another I know almost nothing about - including whether you have to be a Harbour Village guest is La Balandra.

Third vote for At Sea. You may not be able to see the water, but the courtyard is gorgeous, the service impeccable, the food sublime. Capriccios down the street - book a table outside, you can look across to an amazing sunset. Lola's wine cellar always has surprising, well priced options, again white tablecloth service and top notch food. Splurge - book them both and write a review of each for us. Just remember the bug spray.

Whatever you do, MAKE RESERVATIONS either as soon as you arrive or even better - before you leave home. These are not big restaurants, small and intimate with limited availability. If nothing else, trust me on this.

top 3 food spots are capriccios, at sea & sebastians (you choose which order).

none of them have an intimate romatic spot to be away from the crowd.

i would go with the tasting menu and matching flight of wines at At Sea. let the staff know about your special day and feel free to share the moment with the diners around you.
