Seriously, i really want to go hunting for rocks like that now. I have a top of the line metal detector that I have yet to find a good place to use it around here...

What kind of "rocks" will you be looking for with that metal detector? The ones that they store at Ft Knox?

No luck with UofL, I'm still trying to find it a home and some information on dating of this tool. I'm checking with the KY Heritage Council now.

Chris, maybe you should check with the folks at the falls of the ohio here in Jeff??? Just a thought..

Well, no response from UofL or UofK anthropology and archeology departments. I offered this item as a gift with no personal gain other than some information on the artifact.

I guess it is just insignificant, or they just don't want to be bothered.

Thanks for the thought Jenn, I thought the falls were more involved with fossils. I'll have to drop by there some time, makes more sense than the JB Speed Art or Louisville Slugger museums!

So the falls would welcome you?? :D :mooner: Love ya man!! :D

I wish people would pay to see this old fossil, I could use the extra income!:D

I pay every time that I dive with you. :D
