DA Aquamaster:
I idea of an unstructor suggesting that the theoretical depth at altitude (based on the lower atmospheric pressure at the surface) had any bearing on ox tox concerns with nitrox (based on absolute pressure) is really scary. He or she has no business teaching an OW class let alone a nitrox class.

I didn't argue at the time; got my nitrox card and got away.

But then I went to Roatan with his group. When one of the newbies skipped a safety stop so she wouldn't keep the others waiting for lunch, her computer locked her out. His reactions? He got her another computer.

I'm not going to speak against him locally, but I always refer people to a different shop!!
