Minot Ledge off Cohasset/Scituate MA, Old Garden Beach (the good part) in Rockport, MA, and the Rainbow Warrior wreck off Paihia, New Zealand.
Flower Garden Bank NMS is also excellent.

local - my faves have been the Pinthis, City of Salisbury, and Star Island wall

away - too difficult - Bonaire/Curacao are lovely, Saba pinnacles and Diamond Rock are amazing, and we've done some wonderful diving in SA, as well...but I'm a forward-looking, strong imagination kinda gal, so I'd have to say that my favorite is wherever I'm headed next...

Yes, the Bass and the 853 are indeed nice dives. IMHO the 853 has been too busy over the last few years which can effect the quality of the dive. One, not well known, fully intact little wreck that is known for good vis (15 - 30+), abundant marine life, and a very "divable" depth at about 85fsw, is the Neptune @ 41-23.161 x 71-11.135. Always a pretty and easy dive off of Newport, RI.

I cant tell ya only a few know this place. Not too deep but has heavy white sand allowing for great vis and awsome night diving. There is also parking restrictions that are not usually enforced unless continuously abused. Other than that around the island and down to the dehths at Fort Wetherill to see the anemones, or Beavertail PL 3 or 4.

For wrecks I like the Onedega.

Where is Star Island?

Actually NE Diver maybe youll join me for a quick spring warm up dive but the ocean has to be calm because the surge there is quite
strong. Its a popular place obviously with parking restrictions but no one ever dives there due to parking but if we dive in the off season in the early morning or night we are usually OK.

Late season is better since the marine is plentiful right now I assume the marine life is hardly around. But its a closer drive for me than Jamestown.

Sigh... here we go again with Scubasarus and his "secret" sites that lots of people already know about.... :D
